Benjamin Duffield is a Montreal-based filmmaker who works both sides of the street, directing and editing fiction and documentary films. Since graduating from the University of British Columbia with a B.A. in Film and Theatre in 1993, he has created award-winning film and television for the Canadian and American markets.

Several recent accomplishments include: co-editing "Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World" (Special Jury Prize at Sundance, Emmy nomination for Best Editing, and Canadian Screen Awards for Best Feature Documentary and Best Editing); editing three seasons of "C'est comme ça que je t'aime" (Gémeaux Awards for Best Editing all three seasons); and editing Yan England’s “Fanny” which opened to rave reviews and made almost $900,000 in box office in Quebec in 2025.
